This page was designed to inform you what you can do to protect yourself from Ultraviolet Radiation, for now and for the future. We hope you find it usefull.

Do not Stay Outside During Mid-day:

Try not to stay out between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the sun (and its Ultraviolet rays) is at its strongest during this time of day.

Do not Over Tan:

Natuaral tanning as well as parlers are both harmful to your skin and eyes.

Always Wear Sunglasses On Sunny Days

The UV Radiation can cause life long problems such as cateracts and snow blindness.

Wear Clothing that Covers and Hats:

Try to wear clothing that will minimize the sun's exposure to your skin and try to wear wide rim hats to minimize face exposure.

Sunscreen:

Make sure you apply a thick layer of sunscreen to all of your skin not coverd by clothing. Try to reapply the lotion every two to three hours you are out.

Burns

If you get seriously burned while being exposed to ultraviolet light, be sure to treat it with vitamin E and consult a physician!
